The map below is a collection of peak wind gusts taken from ASOS (Automated Surface Observing System) sites and Oklahoma and West Texas Mesonet sites from the blizzard on December 24, 2009. Several sites had incomplete records likely due to icing, or a combination of icing and strong winds during the event.
