Aviation Weather Information
For Western and Central Oklahoma And Western North Texas

NWS Norman is responsible for issuing detailed aviation forecasts for nine airports across Oklahoma and western north Texas. These Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts - or TAFs - are routinely issued every 6 hours, and provide a 24 hour forecast. The TAF is a detailed forecast of weather elements that have a direct impact on aviation, including cloud heights and ceilings, wind direction and speed and associated wind shear, visibilities, and prevailing weather conditions.

Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts are routinely issued every 6 hours, and are valid 24 hours from issuance time. The product provides a forecast of cloud heights and ceilings, wind direction and speed and associated wind shear, visibilities, and prevailing weather conditions.
