1) Initiate open / participatory classroom environment

 

2) Foster a team approach to the training

 

3) Provide students with information to make their stay comfortable & productive

 

4) Develop a sense of where the COOP program has been and where we are going

 

5) Explain different networks

 

6) Introduce students to equipment, observations and forms

 

7) Introduce students to the COOP observer

 

8) Ensure students understand how to take all elements of observations

 

9) Help students to develop a plan for recruiting and training good observers

 

10) Re-enforce student participation
