Locally Heavy Rainfall through the rest of the Weekend

The strong cold front that passed through Middle Tennessee brought ample rainfall amounts to much of the region the past couple of days.  Rainfall totals ranged generally from around 0.25" across the upper and lower Cumberland Plateau counties, all the way up to around 4" in and around the Nashville metro area.

Another wave of rainfall/wintry mix will again affect much of Middle TN late tonight through much of Monday.  However, this next wave of rainfall should affect the areas that have received the least amount so far...thus, the upper and lower Cumberland Plateau counties mostly.  Another 2 to 3 inches of rain will be possible with lesser amounts around the I-65 corridor and points westward.  With all of this rain, minor river flooding may become a threat towards early next week.
