A Frosty Morning in the Mid State

First Frost of the Season
in Middle Tennessee...and
even a few local freezes

(and the same thing could happen again tonight!)

Cold Canadian air settled in across
the Mid State last night...and sent
temperatures dipping into the
middle 30s at many locations...with
some spots even experiencing a
brief period of freezing temperatures.

Allardt and Jamestown reported low
temperatures of 29 and 30 degrees,
respectively.

Below are a few frost photos shared
with us today by Davis Nolan and
the Channel 2 Weather Team:

Another report (and photo) of frost came in from
Fairview:

Other reports of frost also came in
this morning from Clarksville, Dover
and Charlotte, in northwestern Middle
Tennessee, and Waynesboro, in the
southwest.

It also looks like we could have more
patchy frost tonight and Monday
morning.

If you would like to report frost at your
location today and/or send along a photo,
you can do so at our Facebook page
