TEMPERATURE AND ABOVE NORMAL IN RAINFALL...

THE TEMPERATURE IN NASHVILLE AVERAGED 77.6 DEGREES DURING THE
SUMMER OF 2013 WHICH IS 0.3 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. JUNE WAS 1.4
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL WHILE JULY WAS 1.6 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL AND
AUGUST AT 0.8 DEGREE BELOW NORMAL. THE HOTTEST TEMPERATURE THIS
SUMMER WAS 97 DEGREES ON JULY 17TH. THE COOLEST TEMPERATURE DURING
THE SUMMER WAS 56 DEGREES ON JUNE 4TH. THIS WAS THE COOLEST SUMMER
IN NASHVILLE SINCE 2009. THE HOTTEST SUMMER ON RECORD IN NASHVILLE
WAS IN 1952. THE COOLEST SUMMER WAS IN 1910.

RAINFALL TOTALED 13.07 INCHES WHICH IS 2.12 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL.
JUNE`S RAINFALL TOTALED 4.48 INCHES WHICH IS 0.34 INCH ABOVE
NORMAL. JULY WAS THE 4TH WETTEST ON RECORD IN NASHVILLE WITH A
TOTAL OF 6.60 INCHES WHICH IS 2.96 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. AUGUST
RAINFALL TOTALED 1.99 INCHES WHICH IS 1.18 INCHES BELOW NORMAL.
THE WETTEST SUMMER ON RECORD IN NASHVILLE WAS IN 1928 WHEN 19.88
INCHES OF RAIN FELL. THE DRIEST SUMMER WAS IN 1954 WHEN ONLY 4.74
