The National Weather Service Nashville office WSR-88D (KOHX Nexrad Doppler Radar) will be taken completely offline from Monday, May 13 through Wednesday, May 15 to replace several panels on the radar dome. Users of the KOHX radar should plan accordingly for this scheduled radar outage. However, weather conditions currently look dry and benign during this time period.

The radar will also be partially offline during daytime hours on Thursday, May 16 and Friday, May 17 for continued maintenance work.  However, should active weather develop on these days, the radar could potentially be brought online in short notice.

While the OHX radar is offline, users are urged to utilize neighboring radars such as the Nashville Terminal Doppler Radar (TBNA), Fort Campbell KY WSR-88D (KHPX), and Huntsville AL WSR-88D (KHTX).
