...HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK...

AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF RAINFALL IS ANTICIPATED FOR THE NORTHWEST
AND FAR WESTERN COUNTIES OF THE MID STATE...STARTING LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH TUESDAY.

A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE AREA LATE SATURDAY NIGHT. AT THAT
TIME...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL COMMENCE ACROSS OUR NORTHWEST
AREAS. WITH THE BOUNDARY ORIENTED NEARLY PARALLEL TO THE FLOW
ALOFT...THE FRONT WILL BE A VERY SLOW MOVER. THE CHANCES FOR RAIN
WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE ACROSS THE MID STATE THROUGH MONDAY AS THE
FRONT CREEPS SOUTHEASTWARD. THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR MODERATE
TO HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE NORTHWEST COUNTIES
THROUGH MONDAY.

BY TUESDAY...A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL INTERACT WITH THE FRONT
BRINGING WIDESPREAD RAIN TO THE ENTIRE REGION.

FOR THE PERIOD THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...WE ARE LOOKING AT RAINFALL
TOTALS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES FOR MUCH OF THE MID STATE...WITH 2 TO 4
POSSIBLE IN THE NORTHWEST.

SINCE THE GROUND IS ALREADY MOISTURE LADEN...AND RIVERS ARE
RUNNING HIGH...THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL COULD LEAD TO FUTURE
FLOODING PROBLEMS...ESPECIALLY AROUND CLARKSVILLE...DOVER...CAMDEN
AND WAVERLY.

PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR FUTURE UPDATES.
