A strong, low pressure area is forecast to push into the Middle Mississippi River Valley Friday afternoon, with a cold front extending southeastward into western Tennessee. By 7pm CDT, the front is forecast to be located just west of the Tennessee River, with some strong-to-severe thunderstorms occurring out ahead of it, over Middle Tennessee.
