THIS MORNING...WITH MORE WINTRY PECIPITATION TONIGHT...


COLD AIR WILL REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS MORNING
AS LOW PRESSURE CONTINUES TO DEVELOP IN THE GULF. MOISTURE IS
STREAMING NORTH WITH LIGHT WINTRY PRECIPITATION EXPECTED IN
SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE AFTER DAYBREAK...AND SPREAD NORTHWARD
THROUGH THE MORNING IN THE FORM OF A MIX OF SNOW...SLEET...AND
FREEZING RAIN. WARMER AIR IS EXPECTED DURING THE DAY WHICH WILL
CHANGE THE WINTRY PRECIPIATION TO RAIN IN THE SOUTH WITH A MIX OF
RAIN...SNOW...AND SLEET NORTH.

ICE ACCUMULATIONS UP TO ONE TENTH INCH ARE POSSIBLE NEAR THE ALABAMA
BORDER THROUGH THE MORNING...WITH A DUSTING OF SLEET AND SNOW
POSSIBLE OVER NORTHERN AREAS.

MORE WINTRY PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED THIS EVENING...AND
OVERNIGHT WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW POSSIBLE IN THE NORTHWEST
WHILE MUCH OF THE REMAINDER OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE IS EXPECTED TO
GET GENERALLY LESS THAN AN INCH. ONLY A DUSTING IS EXPECTED NEAR
THE ALABAMA BORDER.

MOTORISTS TRAVELING IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS MORNING AND OVERNIGHT
TONIGHT...ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION AS ROAD SURFACES ARE EXPECTED
TO BECOME SLICK.
