...STRONG...AND POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS...WILL SWEEP INTO THE
MID STATE OVERNIGHT...

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP RAPIDLY ACROSS THE MID STATE THIS
EVENING...BREEZING PAST THE TENNESSEE RIVER AROUND 600 PM...REACHING
THE NASHVILLE AREA BETWEEN 900 PM AND 1000 PM...THEN PUSHING TO THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU BY MIDNIGHT.

WINDS WILL RAPIDLY INCREASE WHEN THE FRONT PASSES...WITH GUSTS
LIKELY TO REACH BETWEEN 40 MPH AND 50 MPH. WINDS THIS STRONG COULD
EASILY BREAK BRANCHES AND DOWN SHALLOW ROOTED TREES. IN ADDITION...
THOSE DRIVING HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES CAN EXPECT TO BE BUFFETED BY
STRONG CROSS WINDS...ESPECIALLY THOSE TRAVELING ALONG NORTH TO
SOUTH ROADWAYS...INCLUDING INTERSTATE 65 AND INTERSTATE 24.
