...BREEZY CONDITIONS ON THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU TODAY...

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE GREAT LAKES REGION
WILL DRAG A COLD FRONT THROUGH MIDDLE TN TODAY. A TIGHTENED
PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL ACCOMPANY THIS FRONTAL PASSAGE CAUSING
INCREASED WINDS ON THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU.

WINDS WILL INCREASE THIS MORNING WITH SUSTAINED WINDS OF 15-20 MPH
AND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH. THOSE DRIVING HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES WILL
HAVE TO COMPENSATE FOR THE BUFFETING WINDS...ESPECIALLY THOSE
TRAVELING ALONG HIGHWAYS THAT RUN EAST TO WEST.

WINDS WILL DIMINISH MONDAY EVENING...AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
MOVES RAPIDLY INTO EASTERN CANADA.
