TODAY...A FEW OF WHICH COULD HAVE HAIL

AND GUSTY WINDS...BUT WILL THEN USHER

IN A MORE TYPICALLY DRY AND COOL

OCTOBER AIR MASS FOR THE END OF THE

WEEK.

THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY, FOLLOWED BY A

LARGE...COOL...AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE

OVER THE WESTERN UNITED STATES. THIS

IS THE SAME HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM

THAT WILL SETTLE IN ACROSS MIDDLE

TENNESSEE LATE THIS WEEK, DROPPING

NIGHTTIME TEMPERATURES BACK INTO THE

UPPER 30S AND 40S:
