It was another hot June day across Middle Tennessee with temperatures in the 90's except for the plateau where mid and upper 80's were the rule. Rainfall was skimpy. More hot and muggy weather is in store with temperatures getting even warmer for Sunday and Monday with triple digits possible on Monday. The upper level ridge responsible for the hot weather will strengthen as we go into the first of next week. No relief in sight as computer models keep upper ridge over the area through the end of June and into early July.
