...CAUTION ADVISED DUE TO HEAT AND HUMIDITY...

A VERY WARM AND HUMID AIR MASS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE DURING THE UPCOMING WORKWEEK. CONDITIONS WILL BE WORST
IN THE CENTRAL AND WEST PARTS OF THE MID STATE...WHERE DAYTIME
HIGHS WILL BE IN THE MID 90S WITH NIGHTTIME LOWS IN THE LOWER TO
MIDDLE 70S MOST OF THE WEEK. HUMIDITY WILL CONTINUE TO BE ABOVE
AVERAGE.

THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL COMBINE TO CAUSE HEAT INDEX VALUES
SLIGHTLY OVER 100 DEGREES ON MONDAY FOR MUCH OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE
WITH SLIGHTLY LOWER VALUES ACROSS THE PLATEAU.

HERE ARE SOME SUGGESTIONS TO HELP COPE WITH THE HEAT WAVE ESPECIALLY
IF YOU MUST SPEND MUCH TIME OUTDOORS...

DRINK PLENTY OF NON ALCOHOLIC FLUIDS.

WEAR LIGHT WEIGHT AND LIGHT COLORED CLOTHING.

TAKE FREQUENT BREAKS IN THE SHADE AND TRY TO AVOID SUNBURN.
