Nashville just experienced its wettest spring on record with 23.43 inches of rainfall surpassing the spring of 1984 by just two tenths of an inch. The spring of 2010 was nearly 10 inches above normal in rainfall (9.56 inches). May 2010 ended with 16.43 inches for the wettest May on record and the wettest month ever. May was 11.36 inches above normal. April rainfall totaled 3.48 inches which was 0.45 inches below normal while March totaled 3.52 inches which was 1.35 inches below normal.
