May tornadoes In Tennessee 1990-2010


There were 14 tornadoes with 1 fatality in Tennessee during the month of May 2010. Seven tornadoes touched down in West Tennessee where the 1 fatality occurred. Seven tornadoes also occurred in Middle Tennessee with  no fatalities. There were no tornadoes in East Tennessee during the month of May 2010. The 14 tornadoes that occurred in May 2010 were the most during the month of May since 43 tornadoes touched down in 2003. In May 2003 there were 11 fatalities from tornadoes in Tennessee, the most ever in the month of May.
