304 Fatalities From Tornadoes Since 1950

Since 1950 Tornadoes have killed 304 people in Tennessee with 3860 injuries. Tornadoes have killed more people in the state of Tennessee than Floods, Straight Line Winds and Lightning combined. Below is a table showing the fatalities and injuries for each category since 1950.

 Although tornadoes have occurred in all months of the year in Tennessee, they are most frequent during March, April and May.
