NOAA Weather Radio transmitter, WNG 732, located near Lafollette TN, will be off the air temporarily starting Wednesday, October 30th, while the broadcast equipment is relocated to another site on the same mountain. Moving this equipment is a complicated process and requires coordination between many partners. We plan to resume broadcasts by Monday, December 9th. During this outage, we encourage people to try other surrounding weather radio broadcasts, including from the Knoxville transmitter at 162.475 MHz.
