SUBJECT: CHANGES IN FORECAST FREQUENCY FOR THE STREAM GAGE AT HARDY
ON THE SPRING RIVER /HDYA4/

EFFECTIVE AT 0700 CDT TUESDAY OCTOBER 8...THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE WILL BE ISSUING THE RIVER FORECAST DAILY FOR THE STREAM GAGE
AT HARDY ON THE SPRING RIVER. IT WAS ORIGINALLY A FLOOD ONLY
FORECAST POINT.

THE FLOOD CATEGORIES REMAIN AS FOLLOWS:

1. FLOOD STAGE IS 10.0 FEET.

2. A MODERATE FLOOD STAGE IS 14.0 FEET.

3. A MAJOR FLOOD STAGE IS 16.0 FEET.
