St. Johns County NWS Storm Survey, May 6, 2013

A National Weather Service storm survey team concluded that an EF0 tornado touched down briefly near Elkton, Florida on Saturday night around 9:15 pm EDT. Damage occurred to many outbuildings and barns in the area. The NWS issued a Tornado Warning at 8:25 pm, and reissued the warning at 9:16 pm as the cell track southward over central and southern St. Johns county. The circulation weakend and the tornado warning was cancelled at 9:41 pm.
