Storm reports from the public can be very important! They are used to tell us details about a storm that we may not have observed. Yes, our doppler radar often gives us indications that a storm is severe, but it sometimes cannot tell us what is actually occurring on the ground.
You may submit your storm report by calling 1-877-633-6772 or you can use our online form at http://www.srh.weather.gov/StormReport/SubmitReport.php?site=mobThe phenomenon must occur within our area of responsibility for the report to be of any use to us. Your report goes to the National Weather Service in Mobile, Alabama. Providing this information is voluntary. If you have any questions, please contact the NWS Mobile Webmaster. Thank you
