AUTOMATED  SURFACE  OBSERVING  SYSTEM (ASOS)

 If you click the three-letter identifier in the map  on your left, it will take you to the site where you  can read its current observation.

 The ASOS network is augmented and backed  up by observers at each site.  These  augmentation/backup sites are known as the  Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Stations  (LAWRS).
