AT 319 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WATERSPOUTS...WINDS 34 KNOTS OR GREATER AND
SMALL HAIL...LOCATED OVER LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
20 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

AS THIS THUNDERSTORM MOVES OVER THE WATER...BOATERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY
WINDS AND HIGH WAVES. MOVE TO SAFE HARBOR OR STAY CLOSE TO SHORE
UNTIL THE STORM PASSES.

THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE SUDDEN WATERSPOUTS.  WATERSPOUTS CAN EASILY
OVERTURN BOATS AND CREATE LOCALLY HAZARDOUS SEAS.  SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.  IF CAUGHT ON THE
OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED
METAL OBJECTS.

REPORT SEVERE WEATHER TO THE COAST GUARD OR NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT
AGENCY. THEY WILL RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
