...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
845 PM EDT FOR EASTERN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY...

AT 602 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GAUGES INDICATED
HEAVY RAIN DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL 
STREAM FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. A GAUGE LOCATED IN CUTLER BAY 
REPORTED 5 INCHES OF RAIN. 

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF AN INCH MAY FALL OVER THE NEXT 30 MINUTES, 
HOWEVER THE HEAVIER RAINFALL IS MOVING OFF THE COAST INTO BISCAYNE 
BAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON SMALL CREEKS AND 
STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS... HIGHWAYS...STREETS 
AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING 
SPOTS.
