* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
  FOR...
  CENTRAL MIAMI-DADE COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN FLORIDA...

* UNTIL 745 PM EDT

* AT 646 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL LEAD TO OVERFLOWING POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
  THAT WILL RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. OVER
  THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
  ADVISORY AREA.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  KENDALL...SWEETWATER...UNIVERSITY PARK...OLYMPIA HEIGHTS AND
  WESTCHESTER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND
UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
