...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EDT FOR WEST
CENTRAL COLLIER COUNTY...

AT 158 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAINS CONTINUING 
ACROSS THE NAPLES AREA. SOME REPORTS HAVE COME IN OF FLOOD PRONE 
AREAS EXPERIENCING FLOODING. ONE REPORT FROM COLLIER COUNTY 
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT INDICTED AN ESTIMATE OF 2 FEET OF WATER ON THE 
GOLDEN GATE PARKWAY BETWEEN SANTA BARBARA AND ROAD 951. A REPORT OF 
RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS AROUND 4 INCHES WAS REPORTED NEAR THE 
INTERSECTION OF PINE RIDGE ROAD AND AIRPORT ROAD. 

A FLOOD WARNING MAY BE ISSUED IF CONDITIONS WARRANT IT.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
NAPLES...GOLDEN GATE ESTATES...NORTH NAPLES...GOLDEN GATE...
VINEYARDS...EAST NAPLES AND PELICAN BAY.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF TWO INCHES...LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS 
POSSIBLE...IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA. 
 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS...
HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
