* UNTIL 345 PM EDT

* AT 147 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO 
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY 
  AREA.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  MIAMI...HIALEAH...CORAL GABLES...SOUTH MIAMI...KENDALL...DORAL...
  PINECREST...MIAMI SPRINGS...SWEETWATER...WEST MIAMI...UNIVERSITY OF
  MIAMI...UNIVERSITY PARK...GLENVAR HEIGHTS...WEST KENDALL...CORAL
  TERRACE...SUNSET...WESTCHESTER...OLYMPIA HEIGHTS...FOUNTAINBLEAU
  AND MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL UP TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA. THIS 
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE PONDING OF WATER IN
URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL
ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW
INCHES OF SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
