* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA...

* UNTIL 445 PM EDT

* AT 146 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.
  UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  BOCA RATON...WHISPER WALK...HAMPTONS AT BOCA RATON...BOCA DEL
  MAR...MISSION BAY...BOCA WEST...FAU SOUTH CAMPUS AND SANDALFOOT
  COVE.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF TWO INCHES IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA. THIS 
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL MAKE MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE PONDING OF WATER IN
URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL
ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW
INCHES OF SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
