WAVES: A LONG PERIOD NORTH NORTHEAST SWELL WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE ATLANTIC WATERS. SWELLS ARE EXPECTED TO PEAK AROUND 5 FEET OFFSHORE PALM BEACH COUNTY THIS EVENING, KEEPING SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS AT 7 TO 9 FEET IN THE ATLANTIC. THIS MAY LEAD TO MINOR BEACH EROSION AND COASTAL FLOODING IN VULNERABLE SPOTS, ESPECIALLY AT HIGH TIDES. IN THE GULF, SEAS WILL INCREASE TO 8 TO 10 FEET LATE TONIGHT IN THE OFFSHORE WATERS WITH A WESTERLY WIND SURGE.
