NWS Memphis Product Guide -- Web Features

As the internet continues to evolve, the National Weather Service continues to provide more and more information on the internet, including radar, educational materials, and more.  
· NEXRAD Radar   Latest Radar:  Memphis / Columbus
National Weather Service NEXRAD Doppler Radar is our greatest tool during severe weather.  A full suite of products is produced:  products that don't just show rain, but show wind velocity, liquid water content, and estimated precipitation accumulation.  Links to some of our other radar products are available once you select a city above.
· Educational Resources  Educational Resources
Your Memphis NWS has put together an extensive list of Educational Resources.  Some of these are from NOAA; some are from outside sources.  All of them are excellent links for educators.   
· Multimedia Presentations Multimedia Presentations
A new feature we are working with is placing multimedia slideshow presentations on our webpage.  We plan to keep adding presentations to this section to bring more information to the public. 
· Spotter Training Spotter Training
A new feature on our website is a web-based spotter program. Potential spotters can go through the program and take a test to become a storm spotter.
