An isolated severe thunderstorm developed over the city of Tulsa during
the afternoon of June 4th. Strong thunderstorm winds downed trees, tree
limbs, power lines, and signs at several locations throughout the
northern and western parts of the city of Tulsa. Dime to quarter size
hail also fell across the northern and western parts of the city. The
thunderstorm also produced very heavy rainfall which resulted in flash
flooding in west Tulsa. 8 cars were stranded in high water at 3rd
Street and 25th West Avenue, and 2 cars were stranded in high water at
Interstate 244 and Peoria Avenue. Street flooding also occurred at 41st
Street North and Yale Avenue and on Charles Page Boulevard between 61st
West Avenue and 49th West Avenue.

Severe thunderstorms moved across eastern Oklahoma during the evening
of June 5th into the early morning of June 6th. The storms produced
damaging winds at many locations, but the only occurrence of large hail
was 1 mile south of Catoosa, where dime size hail fell. Several
outbuildings were blown over by 60 mile an hour winds 3 miles southwest
of Webbers Falls, and an outbuilding was overturned and several large
tree limbs were broken off by 60 mile an hour winds near Quinton.
Numerous trees were downed by 60 to 70 mile an hour winds near
Enterprise, and a tree was downed by 60 mile an hour winds just west of
downtown Tulsa. Trees were downed across State Highway 66 3 miles
southwest of Bristow and across a county road in Coweta. Strong
thunderstorm winds downed trees near 66th Street South and U.S. Highway
169 in the city of Tulsa, and large limbs were downed by 60 to 70 mile
an hour winds 3 miles east of Canadian. Numerous tree limbs were downed
at Mounds, at Okfuskee, and 5 miles east of Mounds at Liberty Mounds.
Thunderstorm winds gusted to 80 miles an hour 8 miles northeast of
Eufaula and to 70 miles an hour at Collinsville. Thunderstorm winds
gusted to 60 to 70 miles an hour at Hectorville. Winds gusted to 60
miles an hour at several other locations throughout eastern Oklahoma.

Severe thunderstorms moved across eastern Oklahoma during the early
morning of June 9th. Large hail and damaging winds accompanied the
storms, with widespread wind damage in Muskogee and Haskell Counties.
Numerous trees, tree limbs, and signs were downed throughout these
counties, and a carport was damaged 2 miles west of Stigler in Haskell
County. 3 outbuildings were destroyed and roof damage occurred at
Stigler, and roof damage also occurred at Warner in Muskogee County.
Damage to power lines occurred at Tamaha in Haskell County. Wind gusts
as high as 100 miles an hour occurred at Camp Gruber in Muskogee County
near Braggs, and winds up to 80 miles an hour occurred at Stigler in
Haskell County. Strong thunderstorm winds also downed trees at Porter
and at 66th Street South and U.S. Highway 169 in the city of Tulsa.
Trees and large limbs were blown down at Sequoyah State Park 8 miles
east of Wagoner. Thunderstorm winds gusted to 70 miles an hour near
Checotah and to 60 to 70 miles an hour 10 miles west of Ramona and just
west of Ramona. Winds gusted to 60 miles an hour at Chelsea, near
Inola, and at Colcord. Golfball size hail fell at Keefeton in Muskogee
County, and nickel size hail fell at Porter in Wagoner County. Dime
size hail fell at several locations throughout northeast Oklahoma.

Isolated severe thunderstorms developed in northeast Oklahoma during
the afternoon of June 18th. Dime size hail fell in the city of Tulsa at
41st Street South and Harvard Avenue. Strong thunderstorm winds downed
trees 6 miles northwest of Jay at Zena, and dime size hail also fell at
Zena. Nickel size hail fell 1 mile north of Afton, and 60 mile an hour
winds at Depew downed tree limbs 4 to 6 inches in diameter.

inch diameter tree limbs near Tiawah.
