FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CALIFORNIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN DIEGO CA
452 PM PDT SAT JUL 4 2015

DISCUSSION...

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE INTERIOR SOUTHWEST STATES WILL KEEP A FLOW
OF MONSOONAL MOISTURE INTO FAR SOUTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA THIS
WEEKEND. WE WILL REMAIN ON THE WESTERN FRINGE OF THIS
MOISTURE...KEEPING THE CHANCE OF SIGNIFICANT SHOWERS OR
THUNDERSTORMS JUST AT THE SLIGHT LEVEL OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND
HIGH DESERTS FOR EACH AFTERNOON AND EVENING THROUGH MONDAY. A
DRIER SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL DEVELOP OVER THE REGION AFTER TUESDAY
AS LOW PRESSURE APPROACHES THE WEST COAST. THE MARINE LAYER WILL
REMAIN FAIRLY DEEP FOR JULY AS THE UPPER LOW MOVES INLAND. THE
ASSOCIATED GUSTY ONSHORE FLOW WILL KEEP THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY
ELEVATED...AND TEMPERATURES LOWER THAN AVERAGE OVER THE INTERIOR
VALLEYS NEXT WEEK.
