.A LARGE SWATH OF PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN TO OVERSPREAD THE AREA
TONIGHT...AND AS TEMPERATURES DROP TO AROUND FREEZING...SLEET AND
SNOW WILL BEGIN TO MIX IN WITH RAIN ACROSS HIGHER ELEVATIONS IN
THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS. SLEET AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3

* IMPACTS...SLICK ROADS AND TRAILS EXPECTED TO RESULT FROM SLEET
  AND SNOW ACCUMULATION. HIGH WINDS ACCOMPANYING THE WINTRY

MOUNTAINS OF WEST TEXAS...NORTHERN AND WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE
PERMIAN BASIN...

..WINTER STORM WARNING EXTENDED FOR THE CENTRAL PERMIAN BASIN AND
PECOS COUNTY UNTIL MID MORNING...

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY EXTENDED UNTIL MID MORNING FOR
SOUTHERN AND EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE PERMIAN BASIN AND THE LOW
ROLLING PLAINS...

.THE LAST OF THE SNOW IS SLOWLY EXITING THE AREA. MOSTLY LIGHT TO
MODERATE SNOW IS CONFINED TO AREAS EAST OF A LINE FROM TARZAN TO
ODESSA TO NEAR FORT STOCKTON AND IT WILL STILL TAKE UNTIL MID
MORNING FOR THE SNOW TO COMPLETELY EXIT THE EASTERN AREAS...THUS
THE EXTENSION OF THE WARNING AND ADVISORY. NO MORE THAN AN INCH OF
ADDITIONAL SNOW IS EXPECTED. THERE ARE REPORTS OF BLACK ICE AND
SNOW PACKED ROADS ACROSS THE AREA...EVEN ON WELL TRAVELED ROADS
ALONG WITH LOW VISIBILITIES. CAUTION IS ADVISED IN TRAVELING.
