...FREEZING RAIN ACROSS SE PERMIAN BASIN THIS EVENING AND
WIDESPREAD SNOW DEVELOPING TONIGHT...

LIGHT FREEZING RAIN IS OCCURRING ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST PERMIAN
BASIN INCLUDING BIG LAKE AND IRAAN THIS EVENING AND MAY CAUSE
ROADS TO BECOME ICY AND SLICK. THIS AREA OF PRECIPITATION WILL
MOVE EAST OF THE AREA BY 11 PM.

AN INTENSE UPPER LEVEL LOW WILL SWING ACROSS THE REGION OVERNIGHT
AND BRING WIDESPREAD RAIN AND SNOW WITH IT. PRECIPITATION WILL
SPREAD ACROSS THE UPPER TRANS PECOS AND PERMIAN BASIN AFTER
MIDNIGHT. MOST OF THIS IS EXPECTED TO BE IN THE FORM OF SNOW WITH
RAIN MIXED IN ALONG AND SOUTH OF I-10. ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED
TO STAY GENERALLY UNDER 1 INCH WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS
POSSIBLE MAINLY ACROSS THE EASTERN PERMIAN BASIN.

HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA ONCE
THE SNOW BEGINS. BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES WILL ICE FIRST WITH ROADS
FOLLOWING. STAY TUNED TO THE LATEST FORECAST UPDATES.
