A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PUSH SOUTH THROUGH THE AREA TONIGHT...
BRINGING GUSTY WINDS AND COLDER AIR INTO THE REGION MONDAY WITH
AFTERNOON HIGHS ONLY REACHING THE 50S AND 60S. AS A SURFACE HIGH
PRESSURE SETTLES INTO THE AREA OVERNIGHT MONDAY... LIGHT WINDS AND
CLEAR SKIES WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO COOL TO NEAR OR BELOW
FREEZING TUESDAY MORNING ACROSS ALL AREAS EXCEPT THE RIO GRANDE
VALLEY. LOCATIONS ACROSS THE NORTHERN PERMIAN BASIN AND SOUTHEAST
NEW MEXICO CAN EXPECT A HARD FREEZE WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL FALL
INTO THE LOW TO MID 20 FOR SEVERAL HOURS. REMEMBER TO PROTECT OR
BRING IN PLANTS AS TUESDAY MORNING`S LOW TEMPERATURES WILL BE
COLDER THAN WE HAVE RECENTLY EXPERIENCED ACROSS THE AREA. BE SURE
