THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WESTERN TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

WARM AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES...CORRESPONDING DRY CONDITIONS...AND
BREEZY SOUTH WINDS WILL RESULT IN CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ACROSS THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.  A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT.

THESE WINDS WILL REMAIN BREEZY AND GUSTY THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS
ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS AND MUCH OF WEST TEXAS.  A
WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON...MAINLY WEST OF THE PECOS.
FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS ARE THE MAIN CONCERNS. TONIGHT...
THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP INTO THE WESTERN PERMIAN BASIN AND LOWER
TRANS PECOS.  STRONGER STORMS COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS...SMALL
HAIL...AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ON SATURDAY...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ON A
DRYLINE OVER THE PERMIAN BASIN SOUTH THROUGH THE BIG BEND AREA.
STORMS MAY BE STRONG TO SEVERE...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE
HAIL...GUSTY WINDS...AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.  THUNDERSTORM
CHANCES WILL SHIFT TO THE EASTERN PERMIAN BASIN AND LOWER TRANS
PECOS ON SUNDAY.

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS COULD OCCUR OVER THE GUADALUPE
MOUNTAINS...SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS...AND MARFA PLATEAU LATE
SATURDAY AFTERNOON.  CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON...MAINLY ALONG AND WEST OF THE PECOS
RIVER.
