THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WEST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TODAY...MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH
OF I-20.   ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY OCCASIONAL
LIGHTNING...VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...AND SMALL HAIL.  HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL LIKELY LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING, ESPECIALLY WITH THE
STRONGER STORMS.  A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT TODAY FOR MUCH OF
WEST TEXAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

TEMPERATURES WILL WARM WELL ABOVE NORMAL MONDAY WITH DRIER
CONDITIONS SPREADING ACROSS THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS, SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO PLAINS, THE UPPER TRANS PECOS AND INTO THE PERMIAN BASIN.
SINCE WINDS WILL BE ON THE RISE, NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN ALL OF THESE AREAS.
