THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WESTERN TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS WESTERN PORTIONS
OF THE BIG BEND AREA AND THE MARFA PLATEAU/DAVIS MOUNTAINS
NORTHWARD TO THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND EDDY COUNTY PLAINS.
FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS ARE THE PRIMARY THREATS WITH
STORMS THIS AFTERNOON. THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT...THUNDERSTORM
CHANCES EXPAND TO INCLUDE THE WESTERN PERMIAN BASIN AND LOWER
TRANS PECOS. STRONGER STORMS COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS...SMALL
HAIL...AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ON SATURDAY, SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ON A DRYLINE
OVER THE PERMIAN BASIN SOUTH THROUGH THE BIG BEND AREA. STORMS MAY
BE STRONG TO SEVERE...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...GUSTY
WINDS...AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL
SHIFT TO THE EASTERN PERMIAN BASIN AND LOWER TRANS PECOS ON
SUNDAY.

NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS COULD OCCUR OVER THE GUADALUPE
MOUNTAINS...SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS...AND MARFA PLATEAU LATE
SATURDAY AFTERNOON. CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON...MAINLY ALONG AND WEST OF THE PECOS
RIVER.
