THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WEST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

RAIN HAS MIXED WITH SLEET AND SNOW IN THE GUADALUPE
MOUNTAINS...WHERE THERE WERE ALSO REPORTS OF FREEZING FOG THIS
AFTERNOON. THEREFORE...A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN
EFFECT THERE THROUGH 5 PM MST WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES OF TOTAL SLEET
AND SNOW ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE.

A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET IS STILL POSSIBLE OVER PORTIONS OF THE
SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON...MAINLY ACROSS FAR
NORTHERN EDDY AND NORTHERN LEA COUNTIES. NO ACCUMULATION IS
CURRENTLY EXPECTED IN THESE AREAS.

FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS WILL BE ONE OF THE MAIN CONCERNS OVER
THE REST OF SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND WEST TEXAS TONIGHT AS
PERSISTENT MODERATE...AND AT TIMES LOCALLY HEAVY...RAINFALL WILL
RESULT IN RAINFALL TOTALS NEAR ONE INCH IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 10 SATURDAY. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED, BUT A FEW
COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES.

THE CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA
SATURDAY NIGHT AND INTO SUNDAY...AND WHILE SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
CURRENTLY EXPECTED...STRONGER STORMS SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY
COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL.
