THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WEST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
ACROSS THE DAVIS/APACHE MOUNTAINS, PERMIAN BASIN, AND LOWER TRANS
PECOS. STRONG WINDS AND SMALL HAIL ARE THE PRIMARY THREATS.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED IN THE GUADALUPE
MOUNTAINS THIS AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS
ON WEDNESDAY. A FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS AREA.
THIS WATCH MAY NEED TO BE EXPANDED TO INCLUDE THE SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO PLAINS AND VAN HORN AND THE HIGHWAY 54 CORRIDOR.

FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN HIGH THROUGH THE
WEEK...POSSIBLY PEAKING ON FRIDAY AS WINDS INCREASE AND HUMIDITIES
DROP.
