THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WEST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THIS AFTERNOON, THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO FORM IN AND NEAR THE
DAVIS AND GLASS MOUNTAINS, THEN SPREAD TOWARD THE LOWER TRANS PECOS
AND BIG BEND REGION THIS EVENING.  ADDITIONAL STORMS COULD FORM OVER
PORTIONS OF THE PERMIAN BASIN AND WESTERN LOW ROLLING PLAINS THIS
EVENING.  SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BE SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL,
DAMAGING WINDS, LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND PERHAPS A TORNADO OR
TWO.

LATER TONIGHT, A COMPLEX OF STORMS COULD FORM OVER EASTERN NEW
MEXICO AND THE TEXAS PANHANDLE, THEN MOVE SOUTH AND EAST ALONG AND
BEHIND A COLD FRONT INTO SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND THE PERMIAN BASIN
LATE TONIGHT.  SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BE SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL
AND DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN THREATS, AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
SINCE THE GROUND IS SATURATED IN SEVERAL OF THESE COUNTIES THAT
COULD BE AFFECTED TONIGHT, A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR
THE WESTERN LOW ROLLING PLAINS, AND PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN AND
EASTERN PERMIAN BASIN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
ANY STORM THAT DEVELOPS COULD PRODUCE SMALL HAIL, GUSTY WINDS AND
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN.  A FEW STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL,
DAMAGING WINDS, WHILE A TORNADO OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT.
