FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST TEXAS/SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND/ODESSA TX
459 AM CST FRI FEB 27 2015

.DISCUSSION...
THE CHANCE OF ACCUMULATING SNOWS ACROSS THE BASIN AND SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO WILL END BEFORE LEAVING LIGHT SNOW AND COLD TEMPERATURES INTO
THE NIGHT. IT WILL BE WARMER SATURDAY AND EVEN MORESO SUNDAY WITH THE
RETURN OF SUNSHINE AND SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST WINDS. THE WARMER WEATHER
WILL BRING IMPROVING VENTILATION HOWEVER THERE IS NOT MUCH DRY EVEN
FOR THE WESTERN AREAS.

FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST TEXAS/SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND/ODESSA TX
500 AM CST THU FEB 26 2015

.DISCUSSION...
MUCH COOLER TODAY IN WAKE A STRONG COLD FRONT WHICH WILL SET UP GUSTY
WINDS IN MANY PLACES TODAY. THERE WILL ALSO BE INCREASED CHANCES FOR SNOW,
ESPECIALLY TONIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING IN PARTS OF LEA COUNTY AND THE
NORTHERN BASIN. WARMER WEATHER WILL RETURN SUNDAY BUT STILL NOT VERY DRY.
FAIR TO GOOD VENTILATION IS EXPECTED TODAY, BUT MAINLY DUE TO STRONGER POST
FRONTAL WINDS.
