SATURDAY FOR RELATIVE HUMIDITY OF 15 PERCENT OR LESS...20 FOOT
WINDS OF 20 MPH OR MORE...AND HIGH TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER FOR THE
GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS...

.DISCUSSION...
A DRYLINE CURRENTLY NEAR MIDLAND WILL QUICKLY MOVE EAST THIS
MORNING REPLACING 60S DEWPOINTS WITH 20S DEWPOINTS. WEST WINDS
WILL INCREASE BEHIND THE DRYLINE ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON
PRODUCING CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS IN THE WESTERN AREAS WHERE THE
GREEN UP HAS YET TO BEGIN. ISOLATED STORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND
BEHIND THE DRYLINE THIS MORNING WHICH COULD CREATE THE POTENTIAL
FOR LIGHTNING STARTS. WINDS DIMINISH TONIGHT THEN INCREASE IN THE
GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AGAIN SATURDAY WHERE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS WILL RETURN. HUMIDITY RECOVERY TONIGHT WILL BE FAIR
EAST OF THE PECOS RIVER AND POOR TO THE WEST.
