.DISCUSSION...
THE EMPHASIS FOR THIS FORECAST CYCLE IS WIND. THE GUADALUPE AND DAVIS
MOUNTAINS WILL FREQUENTLY EXPERIENCE HIGH WINDS OVER THE NEXT 5-6 DAYS.
THE PLAINS WILL BE WINDY AT TIMES TOO INCLUDING THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
EVEN THOUGH TEMPERATURES WILL TEND TO BE ABOVE NORMAL THE MINIMUM RHS
WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FALL BELOW 20 PCT. ACROSS THE BIG BEND REGION IT
WILL BE WARMER AND DRIER TOO, ESPECIALLY ON FRIDAY, MONDAY AND TUESDAY,
WHEN THERE WILL BE POTENTIAL FOR SOME WIND IN THE FAVORED AREAS OF THE
CHISOS MOUNTAINS. LARGELY THESE WINDY DAYS WILL FALL INTO ELEVATED FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS AS RECENT MOISTURE WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO WORK OUT
OF THE FUELS WITH MORE RAIN POSSIBLE SATURDAY.
