FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST TEXAS/SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND/ODESSA TX
359 AM CDT SAT MAY 30 2015

.DISCUSSION...

FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL CONTINUE TO BE AT LOW EBB THROUGH THE
WEEKEND AS TEMPERATURES WILL BE BELOW NORMAL, MINIMUM AFTERNOON RH/S
WILL STAY ABOVE 15 PERCENT AND RAIN CHANCES WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
TODAY. HOWEVER, AN UPPER RIDGE WILL BEGIN TO BUILD OVER THE REGION
MONDAY AND BEYOND WHICH WILL LESSEN RAIN CHANCES, AND ALLOW FOR
LOWER MINIMUM RH/S. CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE NOT
EXPECTED EVEN AFTER TEMPERATURES WARM UP DUE TO 20 FOOT WIND SPEEDS
REMAINING BELOW 20 MPH FOR THE MOST PART.
