INCREASE IN SURFACE WINDS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM THE PERMIAN
BASIN OF WEST TEXAS NORTHWEST TO THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND THE
PLAINS OF SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO. RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS IN THE
TEENS AND SINGLE DIGITS AND SURFACE WINDS GREATER THAN 20 MPH OVER
THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND THE PLAINS OF SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO
ARE FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND A RED FLAG WARNING
IS IN EFFECT FOR THESE AREAS UNTIL 9 PM MDT.
