NANTIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND/ODESSA TX
404 AM CST SAT JAN 14 2017

.DISCUSSION...

FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL REMAIN ON THE LOW END THROUGH EARLY NEXT
WEEK AS MINIMUM RH/S EACH AFTERNOON REMAIN ABOVE 20 PERCENT, AND
RAIN CHANCES WILL BE GOOD THROUGH SUNDAY. FUELS ARE DRY RIGHT NOW,
SO LIGHTNING STRIKES COULD STILL START FIRES, BUT RAIN COVERAGE THE
NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS MAY ALLEVIATE THOSE CONCERNS TEMPORARILY.
RECOVERY WILL BE GOOD TO EXCELLENT THE NEXT COUPLE OF MORNINGS.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE NORMAL OR BELOW THROUGH TUESDAY, BUT WARMER
READINGS ARE EXPECTED TO TAKE HOLD MID NEXT WEEK.
