.DISCUSSION...

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH MUCH OF THE
EVENING ACROSS THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND SE NM PLAINS. AFTER POOR
RECOVERY TONIGHT, CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED
AGAIN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING IN THE GUADALUPES AND SE NM
PLAINS. ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OVER THE
NORTHWEST PERMIAN BASIN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON ALSO, BUT THE DURATION
DOES NOT APPEAR LONG ENOUGH FOR A RFW THERE. RAIN CHANCES WILL BE
SCARCE THROUGH THURSDAY, WITH ONLY SLIGHT CHANCES OVER THE BIG BEND
AND LOWER TRANS PECOS UNTIL THEN. MORE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE LOOKING LIKELY OVER THE GUADALUPES AND SE NM PLAINS
ON THURSDAY THOUGH.
