FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST TEXAS/SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND/ODESSA TX
340 AM CDT FRI AUG 29 2014

.DISCUSSION...
THE UPPER TROUGH SWINGING ACROSS THE PLAINS WILL KEEP A CHANCE OF
STORMS IN TODAY FOR THE EAST. AS THIS TROUGH MOVES EAST LOOK FOR
THE UPPER RIDGE TO BEGIN TO BUILD BACK ACROSS THE REGION. THIS WILL
RESULT IN WARMING TEMPERATURES AND DECREASING RAIN CHANCES. THE WIND
WILL GENERALLY BE LIGHT THE NEXT FEW DAYS BUT WILL INCREASE ON SUNDAY
AS A SURFACE LOW DROPS INTO THE PANHANDLE. MINIMUM RH WILL GENERALLY
BE 20 TO 30 PERCENT.
